Lalapa Safaris offers customized private tours as an add-on to your hunting safari. The beauty of a private tour is that you have your own guide with no overcrowding or unwelcome stops on your trip. Although we do have set a trip's itinerary these are purely there as a guideline and we will happily customize a safari to suite your schedule and individual needs. Our aim is to make your dream photographic safari a reality.

Day 4 Depart Elephants Footprint Lodge after breakfast for a leisurely day trip along the scenic coastal route passing small coastal villages with their golden beaches. Pass through East London and on to Morgan’s Bay and the Wild Coast. Spend the night at the friendly Morgan’s Bay hotel.
Day 5 Early to rise for a 4x4 trip along the Wild Coast crossing the Kei River by Pontoon. The Eastern Cape Wild Coast of South Africa offers peaceful, laid-back holidays away from the tourist hordes with enough footprint-free beaches, lazy lagoons, natural wonders and rocky headlands for everyone to enjoy. The Transkei is so far off the beaten tourist track that it has remained relatively untouched and unspoiled. The area has always been a firm favourite with anglers, offering excellent fishing grounds both at the coast and in the estuaries, particularly at the mouths of the larger rivers like the Kei (Kei Mouth) and Mzimvubu (Port St Johns) which are navigable for several kilometres upstream. Launching a ski boat for a day of deep-sea fishing is an exhilarating start to a wonderful day out at sea with magnificent views of the coast. Other activities on the Wild Coast include golf, deep-sea fishing, dolphin and whale watching, fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking and nature trails, rock climbing, abseiling, surfing, canoeing, horse riding, game viewing and bird watching.

Day 5 Early Departure from Knysna for Cape Aguhlas. Cape Agulhas, or the place where two oceans meet, lies at the furthest tip of Africa. Historically, the cape has been known to sailors as particularly hazardous, notorious for winter storms and huge rogue waves that can reach a spectacular height of 30 metres, so it’s no surprise that the coast is littered with wrecks or that the large red and white striped lighthouse was built as early as 1848 in an attempt to warn ships of the conflicting currents, the west winds and the extremely perilous waves that combine to make it the ‘Cape of Storms’. Cape Agulhas is the official point at which the cold Benguela current of the Atlantic Ocean and the strong Aghulhas current of the Indian Ocean meet.
Sleep at the "Cliff Lodge" near Gansbaai The lodge has the most beautiful view of the ocean, "any ocean in the world" ....
Day 6 An adrenalin rush with the White Shark diving company. An experience of a lifetime mixing with the seas most awesome predator.
OR
Charter fishing, the Gansbaai area offers excellent bottom and reef fish. Red roman, Hottentots, jaco peaver, carpenter, steenbras, stumpnose and crayfish (in season). Also game fish such as geelbek, yellowtail, snoek etc
